I'm Ken Hoffman. I design and teach free courses on American and European history, literature, classical music and jazz to the general public in central, Florida. For history courses, I use primary sources and books by recent academic historians to gather information and then present it in an accessible and interesting manner so even a beginner to a history topic will understand and enjoy it. My primary focus in history is the political, cultural, and intellectual history of the United States and Europe in the 17th through 19th centuries. I also teach music history/appreciation courses on classical music and jazz.
